Here Melissa Murdoch of Milton assembles her new handy corflute nuc box from Ceracell. Melissa, who has just started beekeeping after inheriting a couple of hives from her uncle, took home the Ceracell nuc as well as the Varroa Easy Check 3-in-1 from NZ Beeswax. At the opposite end of the country, fellow new season hobbyist Joanne Warbrick won the other two prizes and they are on their way to Whangarei, Hive World NZ’s beekeepers toolbelt and from Ecrotek a Maxant 10” hive tool.
